1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Cruxplot (cruxplot.xyz), an independent service operated from India. In these terms, "Cruxplot", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of the service. Questions about these terms may be sent to contact@cruxplot.xyz.

By using Cruxplot, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.

2. Eligibility

Cruxplot may be used without an account; an account is required only for Cruxplot Pro. Users under 18 should use Cruxplot, and in particular subscribe to Pro, only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Accounts

• You must register with a valid email address that you control, and keep your password confidential.
• Each account is for use by one person. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You may request deletion of your account at any time by writing to us from your registered email address. Deleting an account does not cancel a Pro subscription; subscriptions must be cancelled separately (see the refund policy).

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the diagrams you create with Cruxplot and may use your exports for any purpose, including commercial work, publications, lectures and textbooks. Exports made without Pro carry a small Cruxplot watermark.

When you save, export or share a graph, it is stored with your account so that you can access it again. You grant us permission to store and display that graph for this purpose. You may delete saved graphs at any time. A shared graph can be opened by anyone who has its link, and you are responsible for the content you share.

We retain the descriptions you enter into Generate, the graphs it produces and any ratings you give, and may use them to improve Generate. You should not enter personal or confidential information into Generate.

The Cruxplot name, logo, website and software are our property. The templates and examples provided on the site may be used freely in your diagrams.

5. Cruxplot Pro

• All drawing tools are available free of charge. Pro additionally provides exports of worksheets, step-by-step builds and graphs produced by Generate; PowerPoint and TikZ exports; watermark control (no watermark, or a custom one); and unlimited use of Generate (drawing a graph from a description), which is limited to three uses on free accounts.
• Pro costs ₹99 per month or ₹799 per year in India, billed in rupees through Razorpay (UPI Autopay or card), and US$3 per month or US$24 per year elsewhere, billed in US dollars through PayPal. PayPal or your bank may charge currency conversion fees.
• Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. A Razorpay subscription may be cancelled from the Pro panel on Cruxplot, and a PayPal subscription from your PayPal account. After cancellation, Pro remains active until the end of the period already paid for.
• If a renewal payment fails, Pro is suspended until the outstanding payment is made.
• We may change the price of Pro. A new price applies to existing subscribers only from their first renewal after we have given at least 30 days' notice by email.
• We may modify or improve features over time. If a principal Pro feature is withdrawn, you may request a refund for the unused portion of your current billing period.

Refunds are governed by our refund policy.

6. Generate

Generate produces diagrams from text descriptions using a model that runs in your browser. Its output may contain errors. You should review any generated diagram before relying on it, particularly for teaching or assessment.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to Cruxplot or its services;
• circumvent the limits of Pro, or share a Pro account;
• copy, resell or redistribute Cruxplot itself as your own product; or
• use Cruxplot for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. If we terminate a paid account through no fault of the account holder, we will refund the unused portion of the subscription.

8. Disclaimer

Cruxplot is provided "as is". While we aim to keep the service available and accurate, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of work or academic marks, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date above, and we will notify Pro subscribers by email of any material change before it applies to them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
